60 EARTH HOUR
 It’s as simple as a flick of the switch. What began as a campaign to get Sydneysiders to turn their lights off, has grown to become one of the world’s biggest climate change initiatives. In 2009, at 8.30pm on March 28, people around the world will turn their lights off for one hour – Earth Hour. We’re aiming to reach one billion people, more than 1000 cities, all joining together in a global effort to show that its possible to take action on global warming. Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia with 2.2 million homes and businesses turning their lights off for one hour. Only a year later and this event had become a global sustainability movement with up to 50 million people across 35 countries participating. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square, all stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour. Earth Hour 2009 is a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community. A call to stand up, to take responsibility and to get involved in working towards a sustainable future. Iconic buildings and landmarks from Europe to The Americas will stand in darkness. People across the world will turn off their lights and join together in creating the vital conversation about the future of our precious planet. Over 64 countries and territories are participating in Earth Hour 2009. This number grows every day as people realise how such a simple act, can have such a profound result in affecting change. there are 4 activities v r goin to participate such as lontar peluru, lompat tinggi, lompat jauh n run 100m.
I'm from red house, the 3rd runner up for every year which means v r da loser every year [i guess]
1st of all, red house hav to go to do lontar peluru 1st..
hmm, i had tried for 2 times but fail bcuz the ball is too heavy.. lol
next, lompat tinggi. at 1st teacha ask us to try out 1st b4 the real 1..
nobody try except Ai Vi.. she is gd in lompat tinggi.
since everyone dun wan to try, so v start da real 1..
hmm, i m da 3rd to jump n suprisingly, i did it!!!
omg~ tis is my 1st time success in lompat tinggi bcuz since primary sku until seconday sku, i never success!!!
ahaha, so happy tat time.. yea!!
next, move on to run 100m.
v hav to run as fast as v can bcuz da marks is counted when u successfully run on time, which is 16seconds.
actually i aim for tis. unfortunately, i fail.. i run extra 1 second.. haizzz
a little bad sad..
the last one is lompat jauh..
ermm, suprisingly i success pass through da line again!!
wow, i m genius... ahahahhaha
tis is my 1st time to pass through da line too!!
bcuz usually last time i juz simply jump.. =P
i think red house girl only hav a few ppl pass only..
n i m one of them.. [so proud]
conclusively, i think i hav try my best today to help red house to get marks..
i think tmr my whole body will b very pain.
however, i m quite happy today n i feel fresh afta sweating.. hahhaa
